For my public relations class we had to create a fictional PR campaign for a fictional company. I created a campaign for a fictional company called: "Smart Bites" which was a children's vitamin company. Here is an example of a radio commercial I recorded for the company:

What are you? For some the answer is as simple as white, black, chinese, italian etc. However, with the number of interracial marriages in America continuing to grow, the number of young people identifying themselves as multiracial is on the rise. Gone are the days of the one drop rule. Multiracial Americans are one of the fastest growing demographic groups.This short documentary looks at the life of one mixed young woman. She is half white and half mexican. I looked at some of the struggles she experiences as well as some of the good things she has experienced as a young person of mixed descent.

GLBT Issues at Southern Illinois University Carbondale

Lately, members of the GLBT community have been making major strides towards gaining equal rights in the world. However, there are still many struggles that they are working to overcome. I looked at some of the struggles that students in the GLBT community still face at my university.
